It’s peony season and that means….peony everything. I made some peony water, it’s great for the skin, and the smell is heavenly. If you want to make your own, here are the steps:
Put petals in a pot
Cover the pot with water
Gently heat for 20 minutes, do not boil
Remove from stove and let cool to room temp
Strain petals from water
If you want, add vodka or witch hazel to preserve
If you want to add essential oils to your water- clove, jasmine, lemon, rose, and lavender all blend well with peony.
